When you import a new episode to your Podpage, our system will check your linked YouTube playlist for a video that matches the episode. If a matching video is found, it is automatically added to your episode page on Podpage. This feature enriches your page with visual content and provides a more engaging listener experience.
Setting Up
To ensure accurate matching of podcast episodes with YouTube videos, it is necessary to organize your episodes into a specific playlist on YouTube. This minimizes the chances of false positives, such as matching with unrelated clips or content from your channel.
To activate this feature, you need to link your YouTube playlist with your Podpage account:
Access Settings: Go to your Podpage dashboard.
Navigate to Integration Settings: Select Pages → Episodes → Settings.
Enter Playlist ID: In the Settings menu, input the Playlist ID of your YouTube playlist where your podcast episodes are organized.
After setting up your playlist ID, our system will start matching and integrating videos with each new podcast episode you import.
Advantages of Using YouTube Video Integration
Dual Format Accessibility: Offers both audio and video formats of your episodes on one platform, enhancing user experience.
Efficient Content Management: Automates the process of adding related video content to your episodes, saving time and effort.
Improved Engagement: Having videos on your page can attract a wider audience, increasing the visibility and appeal of your podcast.
The YouTube Video Integration feature is part of Podpage’s continuous effort to provide efficient, user-friendly tools for podcasters. By streamlining content management and enriching your podcast website with multimedia content, this feature aims to elevate your podcasting experience.
