This describes how Podpage supports episode videos

Updated over 2 months ago

Incorporating videos into your podcast episodes can significantly enhance the overall listener experience. This guide illustrates how Podpage seamlessly supports video content on episode pages, providing you with options to showcase your interviews, discussions, and more.

Here's how to do it.

Adding a Video Player at the Top of Episode Pages

  1. Access Your Dashboard

  2. Navigate to Pages β†’ Episodes

  3. Select the Desired Episode: Choose the episode to which you want to add a video.

  4. Scroll to Episode Video Section: Locate the "Episode Video" section and insert your YouTube link into the provided box.

  5. Save the Episode: Save the changes, and when you reload the page, the video will appear at the top, with the audio player still below it.

Placing the Video Lower on the Page

  1. Embed Code from YouTube: If you prefer the video to appear lower on the page, obtain the embed code from YouTube by clicking "Share β†’ Embed."

2. Copy the Embed Code: Copy the embed video code, which typically starts with "iframe."

3. Navigate to Show Notes: Scroll to the "Show Notes" section and click the "<>" option.

4. Paste the Embed Code: Paste the iframe embed code into the Source Code box.

The video will now be displayed further down the page, allowing for flexibility in the placement of multimedia content.
