How Do I Connect Podpage to Ecommerce?
How Do I Connect Podpage to Ecommerce?

I want to sell products on my website

Updated over a week ago

In the same way that Podpage is not a media host (but we integrate with Captvate, Buzzsprout, Libsyn and many more), we are not an Ecommerce site (but we integrate with them).

There are MANY ecommerce options. For example, you could list self publish a book and sell it on Amazon, and then take the link from Amazon and use it in a product. See How Podpage Storefront Streamlines Your Merchandise Sales.

Examples of Ecommerce:

There are MANY options (and to integrate with Podpage, we just need a link to the product or store). Here are examples:

Thrivecart

Thrivecart is popular as it offers a one time purchase. When you setup a product, there will be a link for your product.

Gumroad

Gumroad is another popular option. When you setup a product the link to that product will be under the name of the product

Payhip

Payhip is another ecommerce platform. You can setup a product and click there share/embed button to get the link to put into Podpage. Payhip is free to use, and they take a small portion of the sale.

Pensight

Pensight is another ecommerce platform that has a free and paid plan. In Pensight you click on the ... to the right of your product and choose "Copy Link."

You Just Need the Link

So no matter who you are using for ecommerce, you just need the link to your product or store. If you're not sure where to find it, check the help section of your ecommerce provider, or contact their support.

Many Other Options

Samcart, Shopify, Etsy, etc are more examples of ecommerce solutions that you would easily link to from Podpage.

For example, Shopify enables you to set up a complete store on their site. You could take that link and add it to your navigation bar. With Podpage you have the flexibility to link to any site that is selling your product.
