You can add newsletter signup functionality in two ways:

  • Let Podpage collect emails directly (which you can export later to your email marketing tool)

  • Copy embed code from your existing email service and paste it into Podpage

To set this up, navigate to Connect > Building a Mailing List.

Troubleshooting: Why Your Form Isn't Showing

If you've set up your newsletter signup but can't see the form on your site, here are the most common causes and solutions:

Check Your Sidebar Visibility Settings

Your newsletter form appears in the sidebar, so you need to ensure the sidebar is visible where you want it.

  1. Go to Design > Sidebar > Visibility

  2. Choose where you want the sidebar to appear:

    • Homepage only

    • Episode, video, and post pages only

    • Both locations

Important: If both options are turned off, your newsletter signup will only appear on the automatically generated /newsletter page.

Enable Newsletter Section on Homepage

For maximum visibility, you can also add the newsletter signup as a dedicated section on your homepage:

  1. Navigate to Pages > Home > Newsletter Signup

  2. Toggle this setting on to display the signup form as a homepage section

Check If Content Is Pushing the Sidebar Down

If you have many navigation items in your header and the Newsletter Signup homepage section is disabled, the sidebar may appear further down the page than expected.

Solution: Scroll all the way to the bottom of your page to ensure the sidebar and newsletter form aren't simply positioned lower on the page.
