Troubleshooting Email Notifications from Podpage
Troubleshooting Email Notifications from Podpage
Updated over a year ago

At Podpage, we send out important email notifications for various events related to your podcast website, such as episode imports, new contact form messages, and reviews. If you're not receiving these notifications, here are some troubleshooting steps to help you resolve the issue:

Step 1: Verify Notification Settings

  1. Check Notification Preferences: Start by checking your notification preferences. Navigate to "Settings" and then select "Notifications."

  2. Toggle Notifications: Make sure the specific notifications you want to receive are toggled on. You can customize which types of notifications you receive.

  3. Check Alternative Contact Email (if provided): If you wish to receive notifications at an email address different from your account email, you can enter it in the designated field in the notification settings. This allows you to have notifications sent to a specific alternative email address.

Step 2: Confirm Account Email

  1. Check Your Account Email: If you didn't provide an alternative email address, check that your account's email address is accurate. To do this, go to "Account" and then select "Email Address." Verify that the email address listed here is spelled correctly.

Step 4: Check Spam Folder

  1. Look in Your Spam Folder: Sometimes, email notifications can end up in your email service's spam or junk folder. Check these folders to see if the notifications are being filtered there.

By following these troubleshooting steps, you can often identify and resolve issues with not receiving email notifications from Podpage. If you've gone through these steps and continue to experience problems, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team for further assistance. We're here to ensure that you receive important notifications and make the most of your podcast website experience with Podpage.
