Switching Plans and Billing Cycles
Updated over a week ago

When it comes to switching between plans and billing periods, Podpage keeps it simple. Here's a breakdown of how the billing amounts work:

Switching from a monthly to a yearly plan:

If you're currently on a monthly plan and wish to switch to a yearly plan to enjoy the cost savings, you can do so at any time. The best part is that we'll apply any remaining funds from your current billing period toward the cost of the yearly plan. This means you won't lose out on the money you've already invested.

Upgrading to a higher-priced plan:

Say you're on a lower-priced plan and want to upgrade to a higher-tier subscription with more features. No problem! We will apply any remaining funds from your lower-priced plan toward the new, higher-priced plan.

For example, if you paid $100 for a yearly plan and decide to upgrade 6 months into your subscription, we'll apply the $50 remaining balance to your new plan, ensuring a seamless transition.

Downgrading to a Lower Plan:

Should you ever find that your current higher-tier plan no longer suits your needs, the process is equally straightforward.

If the remaining credit is higher than the cost of the new, lower-tier subscription, the surplus will be added as credit to your account, ready to be used during your next billing cycle. This ensures you don't lose any value during your subscription adjustment.

How to Change Your Plan:

Now that you're aware of the flexibility in our billing and subscription plans, here's how to upgrade:

Step 1: Access the Billing Page

Once logged in, navigate to your billing page. You'll find a "Change Plan" option. Click on it.

Step 2: Choose Your New Plan

On the plan selection page, pick the new plan that aligns with your needs. Podpage offers a variety of plans to suit different podcasters, so you can select the one that suits you best.

Step 3: Review the Total Owed or Credited

Before committing, you'll see the total amount you owe or the credit that will be applied. This transparent process ensures that you're fully informed about the financial aspect of your upgrade.

Step 4: Confirm and Upgrade

Once you've reviewed the cost and are ready to proceed, simply confirm the change. Your account will be promptly upgraded, and you can immediately enjoy the benefits of your new subscription.

At Podpage, we want to make managing your subscription as hassle-free as possible,

so you can focus on creating amazing content for your podcast. With our straightforward billing and subscription plan adjustment process, you have the flexibility to adapt to your changing needs while maximizing the value of your Podpage experience.
